By downloading or using CrateSync you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What CrateSync is
CrateSync is an unofficial Discogs companion for collectors. It helps you sync a collection and wantlist, dig in record shops, and decide Own / Want / Pass. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discogs. Discogs is a trademark of Discogs®.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CrateSync on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store terms and these Terms.
Purchases
Optional Dig Pro is a one-time non-consumable In-App Purchase processed by Apple. It unlocks unlimited fair-price alerts. There is no subscription. The price is set in the App Store for your country (typically €9.99). Payment and refunds follow Apple’s App Store rules. Restore purchases from the Dig Pro paywall if you reinstall or change devices.
Free tier
CrateSync is free to download. The free tier includes 5 fair-price checks per week. Shop Check, Own / Want / Pass, Pressing Assist, Bulk Scan, wantlist price-drop alerts, Deal assist, offline collection, shelf and paid price, care log, played tonight, and listen links stay available without purchase.
Your Discogs account
You sign in with your own Discogs personal access token. You are responsible for that token and for using Discogs in line with Discogs’ terms. CrateSync talks to the Discogs API on your behalf. Marketplace prices are Discogs guidance — always inspect the record.
Acceptable use
Use CrateSync for lawful personal collecting. Do not scrape, abuse the Discogs API, or claim affiliation with Discogs. Do not present Shop Check or fair-price alerts as a professional appraisal.
Disclaimer
CrateSync is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for a sticker that lied, a pressing that wasn’t the one, a cellar with no signal, or a copy you bought anyway. Still inspect the vinyl. We’re smart — we’re not psychic.
