Privacy Policy
CrateSync is an unofficial Discogs companion for collectors. It helps you sync your collection and wantlist, dig in record shops, and decide Own / Want / Pass. It is not affiliated with Discogs.
Data on your device
- Discogs personal access token and username (Keychain)
- Local catalog, wantlist mirror, dig log, and queue (on-device database)
- Local-only home fields: shelf location, paid price, purchase date, play log, cleaning/care log
- Dig Pro purchase state and fair-price usage counters
- Optional wantlist price-drop notification preference
Data we send
- Discogs API requests using your token (collection, wantlist, search, marketplace prices)
- Apple StoreKit for Dig Pro purchases (processed by Apple; we do not receive your card details)
- No advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics trackers
Background activity
If you enable wantlist price-drop alerts, CrateSync may use iOS background refresh to re-check Discogs lowest prices and show a local notification. You can turn this off in Settings.
Your choices
- Sign out to remove Discogs credentials from the Keychain
- Sign out & erase catalog to delete local collection data
- Disable notifications in Settings or iOS Settings
- Restore or manage Dig Pro purchases via Apple ID
